It is a project to find an anthem for present and succeeding generations of

supporters as Wolves approaches its 150th Anniversary in 2027. It has the tacit

support of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club’s senior management but

it is a Community Project where the ownership lies entirely with the fans. It

will always be synonymous with the right of all participants to receive the twin

characteristics of respect and tolerance, whoever they are or whatever their

input into the project may be

What is its Mission?

• An anthem of hope and optimism that captures the essence of the City

of Wolverhampton’s defining mantra – ‘Out of Darkness Cometh Light’

• An anthem to celebrate The Wolves, The Colossus that transcends

changing fortunes and is the beating heart of its city

• An anthem to be sung wherever The Wolves gather in the world to

declare their unity of purpose and the One Pack Concept:

We Are All Different - But We Are All Wolves

What is its goal?

That following an ambitious, in-depth and inclusive selection process, the new

Wolves Anthem will be officially adopted by WWFC as it approaches its 150th

Anniversary in 2027. The dream? That its first official performance will be sung

by a Massed Choir at a ceremony at Molineux with the Worldwide Wolves

network of clubs participating virtually,

• A similar targeted programme to familiarise the anthem with all the UK

based support
