World Wide Wolves

Greetings from Wolverhampton. This is part of a Worldwide Wolves

consultation exercise to invite fans to rally around a potentially exciting

project as we build up to the 150th Anniversary of WWFC in 2027

For years, some of us in Molineux’s pack have been searching an anthem

that would appeal to everyone in our Wolves Family from 9to90 years of

age. One to emulate the iconic ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ that electrifies

Anfield and one that is sung wherever the Reds’ supporters gather

anywhere in the world. It has proved not to be an easy task!

So who are we?

We are just a bunch of fans, each one of us with a strong

affiliation to Wolves. Our present small team includes a legendary past-

player and a Melbourne Wolf and we are all massively committed to this

project.

As for me? I have had a season ticket at Molineux for 50 years. WS3 is my

Molineux home and I’m Jerry.

Anthem Wolves has only one purpose, it has no hierarchy or grandiose

structure. This website will be its information centre and its co-

ordinating team, presently based in Wolverhampton, will be regionalised

as the project builds.

This first communication is purely a consultative exercise specifically

shared with Worldwide Wolves members. Please peruse the draft

attachments. We’d appreciate your feedback whatever it may be. Is there a

slicker way of operating? Would you allow us to use your Club’s name as

an active supporter of the project? We are here to listen because we want

to get this right prior to the official launch of the project and its process in

April.

Difficult days for for our club at present. But when the going gets tough, the

tough get going and Anthem Wolves will be our clarion call!
